Stereotypes 1 – Civil Rights Pioneers 0

Have you ever taken a look around at “Black Society”? I mean taken a REAL good look. Open your eyes and feast on the bounty that is black pride!
Remember those civil rights pioneers like Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, and so forth and so forth (skipping names of less internationally recognizable people). They must be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO proud of how far black people have come.

Take 50 Cent for example, been shot a bazillion times, degrades women in his music and real life and advocates illicit drug usage. How about OJ Simpson, him and his famous “If I Did it” Novel (personally I never pegged him as much of a reader far less a writer).

Even the every day black person who blames ‘the man’ for the fact that they can’t get a job (though the spent most of their school life high, drunk, absent, pregnant or some wonderful combination of the aforementioned). Where is this coming from you may ask and I don’t blame you.

Watch with PRIDE this empowering display of black power, equal rights and respect for self and women.

So what is this? A fertility dance or an orgy? So we got civil rights so some of us would be allowed to do this…so sad.

  2. God of Death says:

Wooooooooooooooooooooow!!!!! Where to begin? I mean I could write it off with the standard ‘Thats what passes for culture in Jamaica nowadays’ but chhhh… this was something else. It was a little funny tho with such notable extracts as ‘Fuk her to de sky!! To de sky!!’, ‘Cock up pon de ladder gyal…get fuk anywhere’ and also along with the fact that the DJ or whoever is screaming FUCK FUCK FUCK for the whole goddamn video, like a 3 year old who found a new word. Just klassy

And I mean u BARELY touch on embarassing black entertainers… u just have to turn into BET to see many of them, daily!! Imagine how one channel can drag down a whole race… one would think it was run by the KKK. Remember the “Read a book, read a book, read a mutherfucking book!!” shite from earlier this year? I wont even begin to touch on that… I mean if this is the only way to talk to our youth…Nuff said.

Actually, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the “Read A Book” campaign, lol. It was said, you must speak to people in terms they’d understand…

I was in considerable shock while watching this video. Honestly, I can’t believe that is what passes for “dancing” nowadays, and ppl stand around and tape these antics for broadcast. I thought ppl knew there was a line between dancing and just plain lewdness, but obviously dat line was marked in chalk and got smudged out cozzzzz they just move right pass it like it was nothing.
And that dj… stupse… i ainno who tuh cuss, de dj fuh encouraging de acts or de “dancers” for conducting de acts and heeding the encouragement of the dj to continue the acts
